The Shusha System can be used for developing Multi-Lingual Applications on Linux (August 2000) as can be seen from the Screen Shots. 'Shusha' system has been available on Linux for typing text and other such works since May 1999.  

You can now prepare Application in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Gurmukhi and Bangla in LINUX. The method of doing this is essentially the same as has been explained in the 'Source Code' of the Multilingual Software' in the 'free-downloads' page of this site. The source code of the application will be put up on the site after a few days once comments and explanations have been written.
